Balfron, it's a close knit community that sits far enough away from Glasgow and Stirling to make it rural and a most attractive place to live! Lets look at what we have:
Balfron High is beyond good, and champions the kids in Balfron and surrounding villages.
We have the McLintock Halls, an amazing local asset that provides for local groups.
Balfron Medical Centre! We have doctors that care, are proactive and it has receptionists that are more than just approachable!
A library that is one of the most welcoming that I have ever visited. Then there is the Co-op, hairdressers, a butchers (try the steak pies!), Chiropodist, Optician, Yoga and Massage clinic!
Food is bountiful, The Saffron Indian Restaurant (sit in and take away) Bakers & More for rolls and tasties! Then we have Doyles Cafe, where everything is home made and the welcome is wonderful, the Hootsman Ciabatta and Pizza Fridays are something you need to try!
Tir na nOg Holistic Centre, it's a must to visit and a delight for kids!
