The mobile bank from the Bank of Scotland has ceased coming to the community. The last visit was in May 2024.
The Post Office can deal with pay ins and withdrawals There is a reliable cash machine in the Co-op shop open from 7am to 10pm.
The Balfron Phone Box is a food exchange hub with food donations going in almost everyday. It is free for ANYONE to use and donate too!
Petrol and Diesel
Although Shearers is closed the petrol station is open. If you are there Mon-Fri 8 till 4 there is someone attending after that there is a machine which requires a bank card
